Sorry, no new comic today. In fact, no new comics this week. I’m taking the week off as we’re in Maine for the week enjoying family visiting from California and Maryland. And as I operate in the standard web comic production model I have no buffer built up…….sorry…….. 🙁

I received the first copy of my book! My editor wife will now have at it with her red pen. Then I will fix all the misspellings and grammatical errors, (you know, like misspelling “Doug” ) and have it up for sale soon.
In other news, I’ll be out of town covering some extended family obligations this week and won’t be able to cartoon after all. I’m putting out an all points guest strip request. Let me know if your interested or just send anything you want. Odds are it’ll be posted and tens of people will see it! Say Yay!

OK, OK, I know. I haven’t posted a new strip for a while. Work and extended family issues have conspired to take all my free time and attention lately. I won’t bore you with the details but I will give you a book update. It’s almost done! One Small Step Volume 1 is in final form and I’m just waiting on a proof copy (to make sure I didn’t misspell “Qwerty”). I’ll have news soon about price and availability. Thanks again for reading and I’ll get back to speed soon.
