Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out in the interwebs world. We are all going to the in-laws today so we don’t have to cook this year! We just show up with appetites and expandable pants.

Am I the only one annoyed by the early, early, appearance of Christmas commercials? I know the retail sector is desperate for sales but I wonder if two full months of commercials will actually bring people into the stores. On a positive note, my wife and I were up at the shopping megopolis this weekend (looking for free food samples at Costco) and there are certainly a LOT of sales going on. So it looks like your dollar will stretch farther this year (if you have dollars to be stretched).
Also, the local oldies station has been on a continuous Christmas music loop since Halloween. My dad forbade Christmas music in the house till Thanksgiving and I tend to agree with that. I fear for the sanity of the radio station’s employees forced to listen to “The Little Drummer Boy” for two months or, God forbid, “The 12 Days of Christmas”.
